OUR STORY
We have lived on the farm for 40 years its family run and we have fallen in love with nature .We have been looking at ways to use the farm but also preserve the nature around us. Glamping came to us on a relaxing holiday with the family, we so enjoyed our Glamping experience we decided opening a Glamping & Camping business could be just what we needed. We care so passionately about nature it would have less impact on our surrounding wildlife keeping our fields wild with small areas for our guests to enjoy what we see everyday. That's why we wanted to have our campsite certificate from The Greener Camping Club they offer so much back to the environment plus we get a tree to plant a tree on our farm for every booking we get Amazing! We are so very happy we are able to share this with you.

In our Glamping field you will have a luxurious Geodesic Dome with room to explore, outdoor kitchen and toilet with shower. Coastal path on your door step with panoramic sea views. We have two beaches you can enjoy with a walk off the farm, no roads just a safe path off the Glamping field onto the coastal path. Take a picnic plenty of water and relax on the beach for the day its so peaceful.
We chose Thorning Farm for our 1st camping trip because of the fact each pitch was separate. You had your own space with a toilet, shower and cooking hut with running hot water. We also chose it because we brought our dog who is a bit nervous about other people and dogs so we didn't want to add to his anxiety so this site suited us perfectly. I have never seen our dog so relaxed and chilled out. It was bliss. Also having young children having a toilet on our pitch was so useful .
The shop was good and handy to have close by. It stocked all the necessities e.g bacon and eggs, milk, marshmallows, logs for the fire etc. We met the owners who were so nice to talk to and super helpful. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

We loved I here. The owners provide everything we would normallytake camping. They are on site and easy to contact but are not in your space. Because the shower, toilet and kitchen were private with our geo dome we felt we were the only people there. Good option for our family with kids ranging between 1yo-15yo. We will definitely visit again soon.
Liked: This was our second stay at Thorning Farm and we thoroughly enjoyed it again! The site is just beautiful, the views are outstanding and I would recommend this to everyone! The owners are so welcoming and will do anything to ensure that you have a wonderful stay. The weather wasn't the best for one of the days but we were still able to enjoy the time in the dome, 5 of us with a dog and at no point did we feel claustrophobic or cramped. You have your own eco toilet, shower room and kitchen area which are all equipped with everything you need. The walks around the campsite are beautiful! The hills are a bit extreme but as long as you have plenty of water and walking shoes you will be just fine the views will make up for it!! We are hoping to come back soon!
